The workhorse length — one fuse that just works, in your choice of construction.
The 33cm Medium is our recommended length for most riders. It strikes the best all-around balance: stable enough to feel locked-in when you want it, loose enough to carve naturally when you don't. Predictable through turns, efficient through pump cycles, confidence-inspiring across disciplines and conditions. If you're not sure which length to pick, start here.
Two constructions. One geometry.
Same length, same dimensions, same all-around feel — the choice comes down to ride quality and budget.
Carbon — Full carbon, no foam. Stiff, light, and built with premium materials for the highest-performance ride in the lineup. The taper-lock interface keeps the connection tight with zero play, even under heavy riding.
Aluminium — A more affordable alternative without sacrificing the geometry that makes the 33cm work. Same predictable feel, lower price point — a great entry into the system.
Cover included.
Every UniFoil fuselage ships with a protective cover.
Why you'll love the 33cm:
Best all-around balance — the length we recommend for most riders.
Stable, predictable feel — smooth through turns and transitions.
Efficient pumping — natural cadence, no fighting the foil.
Choosing your fuse length:
22cm (XS) — tightest turns and maximum responsiveness. Aluminium only. Best for intermediate to advanced riders.
27cm (Short) — tighter turns and quicker response. Recommended with Evolution front wings.
33cm (Medium) — best all-around length for most riders.
39cm (Long) — maximum stability.
1-Bolt vs 2-Bolt compatibility:
1-Bolt Fuse — required for Vyper and Retrospective models.
2-Bolt Fuse — recommended for Hyper2 and Progression wings.
If you're already on our system, your 1-bolt fuse will still fit the newer 2-bolt wings (Hyper2 / Progression) depending on your setup.
Hardware note (aluminium only):
If you're using stainless steel screws with aluminium parts in saltwater, apply Tef-Gel to the threads to prevent corrosion and galling.
Bolts sold separately.
