The 27cm Short Fuse is built for riders who want their foil to feel loose, reactive, and fast to transition. Shortening the fuselage tightens your turning radius and makes carves snap — ideal for riders chasing a surfier feel, quicker direction changes, and a more responsive pump cadence. This is the recommended fuselage for Evolution front wings.
Available in two constructions: Carbon is full carbon with no foam core — stiff, light, and premium. Aluminium delivers the same dimensions and performance at a more accessible price point. Both use the taper-lock interface for a tight connection with zero play.
Important: If using stainless steel screws with aluminium parts in salt water, apply Tef-Gel to the threads to prevent corrosion.

Choosing your fuse length:
27cm (Short) — Tight turns, quick direction changes, surfy feel. Recommended with Evolution front wings.
33cm (Medium/Original) — Best all-around length for most riders.
39cm (Long) — Maximum stability.
Compatibility: 1-Bolt fuse is required for Vyper and Retrospective models. 2-Bolt fuse is recommended for Hyper2 and Progression wings. If you're already on our system, your 1-bolt fuse will still fit newer 2-bolt wings depending on your setup.
