Seamless Integration

The patented Cedrus Evolution Adapter interface offers drag-free integration to any foil system. The adapters connect using a combination of M8 and M10 steel and titanium hardware, and the resulting interface is as stiff or stiffer than any OEM connection.

The modularity ensures the mast remains forwards and backwards compatible, serviceable, and repairable if needed.

FAQs

Every foil brand has a different fuselage connection. By using a machined fitting coupled to the end of the mast, Cedrus adapters re-create the OEM connection. In many cases, the CAD (computer aided design) file is provided directly to us for a perfect fit.

Custom adapters are available at a slight premium to the standard price. Whenever a new brand or connection launches, we will do our best to offer adapters at the standard price. However depending on popularity or region, it may not be feasible to store inventory of every adapter. Contact us for a question or quote regarding your custom adapter.

Cedrus adapters are fully warrantied against design and manufacturing defects. This being said, adapters can be considered "wear items" and excessive use or corrosion due to improper care is not considered a warranty item. Fortunately, adapters are sacrificial structure in the case of impact with a reef, saving your expensive mast. In addition, because we do not design the fuselage interface, we cannot warranty other brands' connections. Specifically, in the case of M6 screws connecting to the fuselage, hardware failures are a direct result of a design that we cannot control or warranty.
