The Progression 125 was conceived as an exploration of the characteristics that define the Progression 140. Through our research and development process, we recognized that the 140—while exceptional in its own right—primarily excels in delivering stability and performance from chest to head high waves. In the pursuit of accelerated performance, we also wanted a foil that can cater to faster and/or larger moving waves as well as wing foiling speeds for riders of all levels.

With the 125, our goal was to preserve the fundamental and predictable feel of the 140 while introducing key enhancements. We achieved this by focusing on three critical elements: speed, roll, and efficiency. The Progression 125 exhibits a significant increase in speed and roll, resulting in increased efficiency, while maintaining a forgiving low stall speed that provides a broad speed range of easy usability.

One of the standout features of the 125 is its heightened pump and glide efficiency. Changes to the foil section, aspect ratio, and wingtip curvature greatly enhance the overall efficiency of the Progression 125—helping riders use less cardio to reach the next wave, save energy for the wave face, and foil better for longer.
